The region of Limon
and especially the Southern Caribbean region of
Limon, known in Spanish
as 'Caribe Sur', has
some of the
most beautiful beaches in Central and South America.
The beach of Punta Uva, featured above had been
declared by some travel magazines as one of the
most beautiful beaches in the world.
Our little towns are defined by its beaches. Punta
Uva gets its name from the grape point, where one

Playa Chiquita simply means the little beach as
